This April, Marvel's new comic book event, Avengers vs. X-Men (AvX), will pit Earth's Mightiest Heroes against the Children of the Atom for 12 can't-miss issues. If the drawing power of the characters weren't enough, the story comes courtesy of writers Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker, and Matt Fraction and artists John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel, and Adam Kubert.

A lot of stuff has been happening with comics lately. DC and Marvel have some great story's going on.
Marvel Comics new event Fear Itself has kicked off. Red Skull has released Odins greatest foe, leaving all the super heroes in the middle of a war between gods. If you haven't read comics in a while, Marvel Events are a great place to start. Here's a good link to check out Fear Itself.
DC Comics new event following Blackest Night, and Brightest Day is called Flashpoint. Flash wakes up in a different world where everything he knows has changed. This event is going to result in 52 new DC titles being released starting again at #1. The #1 titles ship in September. It will be a great time to get back on board with DC comics.
